Under the project leadership of Isabelle Grimm from the Textile Research Institute Thuringia-Vogtland (TITV) in Greiz, a product has been created that combines design, functionality, and sustainability in a modern way.

Our textile Afilia® is used in selected areas of the center console. It impresses with its pleasant touch, high durability, and sustainable production. Afilia® sets textile accents that emphasize the premium appearance of the console while also meeting functional requirements.

The center console itself is based on a modular design and combines various materials to ensure maximum flexibility and efficiency. Through the targeted integration of Afilia®, both aesthetic and technical goals were successfully achieved.

This project clearly demonstrates how textile innovations contribute to shaping forward-looking vehicle interiors – and how interdisciplinary collaboration leads to high-quality solutions for the mobility of tomorrow.
