Foundation of the parent company Gerhard Rösch GmbH by textile engineer and visionary Gerhard Rösch in Tübingen / Bühl.
1963
Spin-off of Rökona Textilwerk GmbH as an independent production operation for polyester-based textiles.
1971
Opening of the company kindergarten.
1976
Development of technical textiles for the automobile industry.
1977
Foundation of the Rösch Stiftung foundation supporting gifted students in Tübingen. Entry of the 2nd generation into the family business with Arnd-Diether Rösch and his wife Adelheid Rösch.
1992
Foundation of the affiliated company Rösch Kft in Kecskemét, Hungary for patterns and for cutting and sewing.
2000
Start of serial production of the “micropiquet” decor for the VW concern.
2001
First luxury-touch piled fabrics for SUVs.
2004
Joint venture foundation in China.
2005
Entry of the 3rd generation with Arnd-Gerrit Rösch. First translucent shading material for use in panorama roofs with axial reinforcement via fabrics with weft insertion.
2011
Patent registration for the innovative Contra!cut cutting protection.
2012
Start-up of the VW Golf 7 featuring “Ecopiquet” decor.
Sales Office opens in Shanghai.
2016
Installation of new stenter frames and start-up of thermal exhaust gas purification.
2017
Dedication of a fully-integrated production facility in China featuring warp knitting, dyeing, finishing and lamination.
2019
Presentation of a new CD / ci at the Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt.
Connection of the RTO to the Tübingen district heating network.
2020
Environmental Prize Presentation.

Baden-Württemberg „Focus Open – Special Mention“ design prize presentation with an exhibition at MIK Ludwigsburg for the product group „RE:Space“.
