re:space

Our Space for
Sustainability

Re:Space stands for sustainably developed and produced technical textiles.

Our multi-award-winning RE:SPACE products are made using the highest possible proportion of recycled material.

The use of recycled polyester from recycled plastic, such as textile production waste, PET bottles, closes the loop. This recycling concept sees us using raw materials from non-textile origins such as SEAQUAL® in an RE:SPACE textile.

Materials available on the market that are made from renewable raw materials are also implemented.

RE:SPACE products require no dyeing process. This eliminates the need for the heating and wastewater associated with such a process. The pollution that comes with the subsequent treatment of such wastewater is completely eliminated. Production steps that are no longer needed thanks to the innovative selection of raw materials and auxiliary materials are also discarded.

This can save on wash cycles, for example.

Chemical use is extensively scrutinized, and in general we take our cue from the recognized guidelines.

Traditionally foam-lined products that are used in particular in vehicle ceiling linings are replaced by innovative 3D textiles that will eventually use no foam at all in the future. These 3D textiles are manufactured from recycled polyester, meaning that they can be recycled in their entirety.

The RE:SPACE concept undergoes constantly further development.
